Macross Saga
The phrase Macross Saga is a Robotech term referring to episodes 1 through 36 adapted from the original Japanese animated series Super Dimension Fortress Macross. This website will refrain from using the phrase Macross Saga in any context and will refer to the Macross Saga of Robotech as the first Robotech war.
Robotech
This website uses the term Robotech to refer to the entire Robotech franchise.
SDF Macross
This website uses the abbreviated term SDF Macross to refer to the original Japanese broadcast of Super Dimension Fortress Macross. SDF Macross is also a pseudonym for the SDF-1 in the original Japanese series. This website will refrain from referring to the SDF-1 as the SDF Macross.
